Thank you to those who were able to attend Back to School Night on Thursday. It was wonderful meeting some and re-acquainting with others. I'm very excited about this year, and happy to partner with each of you to make this year a success for everyone!
For those who were not able to attend, your child will be bringing home a packet on Monday, containing:
- Your child's Class Dojo log-in information. Watch this video to learn more about Class Dojo- the behavior management and communication tool we'll be using this year. If you have any questions, I'm happy to sit down and go through this with you at any time!
- Your child's contact info. Please note any changes, or anything you'd like me to know about your child or family (ie We don't check our email, please call)
- An informational letter about Rocket Math, with suggestions for how you can help your child practice her math facts at home.
- Our daily schedule, yearly unit plan, and my contact information.
Please review these items and return the info sheet and the bottom half of the Dojo page with your child as soon as possible. Again, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email, call, or text!

In class on Thursday, we watched a short clip, demonstrating how to cover the math book with a paper bag. In case you don't remember, either, please feel free to re-watch it at home this weekend!
Also on Thursday, we spent some time in the afternoon creating our OWN very informative "How-to" videos on a variety of processes one would need to be successful in our classroom. Here they are, in all their un-edited glory for your viewing pleasure!
